Sundown Shadows

Here we are in Pagosa Springs where we are staying the night. We’re on our way to the storage unit in Arizona to pick up the darkroom and other supplies. I’m looking forward to printing on blue again. We stopped in South Fork so Bodie could stretch his legs and this is where I made these shadow self portraits. I’m not much of a color photographer and don’t plan to take up color work but I’m having fun combining hand held pinhole with color. I’m also enjoying the quality of light at sunset. The surplus shipping container that we strapped onto the ski racks with come-alongs is working out great. I’m really looking forward to getting settled at our new digs….
I especially like the top one, with the cross and shadow. Nice color.
